LED Passenger Pegs

I did this lil mod today.

Parts needed
LEDs & resistors (or LEDs w/ builtin resistors)
5 Minute epoxy
shrink wrap
Soldering iron n solder
Drill w/ a 13/64 bit

I placed 3 per peg on mine, the # of LEDs is up to you. Took me about an hour to complete. Cost is about $20.

I will make a lil vid once I get them installed (have to fix rectifier n battery first).

Yea I just looked up his site he does a varity of styles. Looks as he uses a smaller LED too. I could fit alot more on mine but the LEDs I got are bright as hell

Well they hurt my eyes looking directly at em

but with a lil time and imagination you can install LEDs anywhere. I replaced the white LEDs with amber ones too on the ones I added to the front.

yeah as soon as I get my fiance riding, I will never have passenger pegs again. They are off right now, I probably won't be putting them back on til it's warm again.

i thought about taking my pegs off, but i kinda need them, damn duel exhuast, but the idea of being able to take pc on a quicker run then the rebel through the gap would be nice, i just need to bring the rear seat

You can get exhaust hangers to remove them. Saves you the trouble of taping them up at track dayz....

i think it'd be sweet to get some red's or similar colors and integrate them w/ your brake light(s) or indicators. i may do this to make my rear led signals more noticable.

I'll get some after I get my battery n rectifier replaced (x-mas presents). I got them back on the bike today and the connectors soldered n shrink wrapped. But I havent reinstalled the tail fairing yet for forementioned reason.
