IHS Approved Tag Light

I finally got my title transfered along with my tag today so I pretty much had an almost 100% legal bike (Minus the no Front Right Blinker). So running my bike around to buy some Christmas gifts (I start late) I stopped at Advanced Auto Parts and saw the Neon. I'm not a big fan of neon on the bike but felt like some sort of tag light was needed.

Which I know my tag isn't really in a legal location with it being tucked away but I haven't had a problem yet. Plus I know Green isn't legal. But figured it'd be better and nothing and not stick out like green.

But here are some picks of my ghetto fabulous Tag Light...
My Wonderful wiring job(I'll clean it up later)

Later on I'm going to rig it to a switch on the handle bars so it goes on when I want it to.

Tru. But it would have cost $10 more and I only had $30 cash on me. Everything together cost $23 and I couldn't sweet talk the lady down any on the price.

Also can't have a tag looking better than my bike...

Nor can I forget my Fake CF mirrors that I got for $20

And you need to see my rear turn signal job. You see two wires coming out of the seat and over the rear body panel to the stick on blinkers. I did that to make it road legal.

Congrats! In most states you dont need turn signals, you just use hand signals, though its not recomended since its not an attention grabber like a blink is!!

Or that I farted so bad the pain melted off.

I do get some looks going down the road. And I mean people look hard at the bike. Not glance at it and think "Hey cool a bike".

I thikn most people think I'm some kind of hardcore rider who wrecks often from riding too hard. Or that I'm America's Ghostrider.

Or I could Sharpie it...

I do want to paint it. 1 reason is to repair some body work another reason to have the bike looking sharp. I doubt I'll win any shows or BOTM awards considering I'm on a budget and would be competing wit Litres and Tricked out Busas. But atleast it's fun and it's nice to see a bike come along.

Here is the colors (And maybe somewhat of a paint scheme) that I want to go with. The only difference will be the White part will be silver/gray and instead of having black I want a very very dark grey that looks black from afar but you can see that it's not jet black up close.

I just need someone to draw some designs up for me because I can't draw worth a crap. Not even stick figures.

Go to a Tattoo shop, Take in a markup of the side of the bike w/o any paint (ie, photochop it or something, just get the basic side profile of the bike).

Pay the dude 10 bucks to draw it out for ya....

Or just take the damn thing to a paint shop and it'll be part of the price they quote ya for painting the bike.

BTW. Not even stick figures? Damn.... did you fail kindergarden?
