custom seat

hey guys, I've got an 04 R6 and I know a lot of people have this same problem but when my wife tries to ride with me she constantly falls down off of the pass seat and on to my seat which sucks. Have any of you ever found or had made a custom seat that actually extends over on to the back of your seat?? Or do any of you know of a way to make this more comfortable??

you could always mod the tail with a banana seat off another bike. It would take a lot of work and probably a new subframe and tail section.

Try corbin? I don't like the look, but a lot of folks love them.

Itd basically be like the reverse of what a lot of people do with 600r's. A lot of people dont like the look of the single seat so theyll replace the tail section with one off of an r6. Itd be fairly involved, but itd be more comfortable and probably quite a bit better for 2-up riding.

could get a non slip cover for the passenger seat too. It just slips on over the current cover and has a grippy surface too it.

If a lot of 600R riders are swapping their seats for R6 sets, there should be a lot of comfy 600R seats on ebay.

Yeah theres usually at least a few on there at a time. And Im sure that if the OP wanted to, someone on the forum I read a lot off of would be willing to trade in a second.

I am going to second what playfulgod said about some kind of grippy surface. Honestly, its just a passenger seat, you don't wanna spend 100 bucks on that thing. Just get some grip tape or something and slap it on there.
