High Performance Drag bike (by using supercharger as a root) and ideas

Hi, first and foremost, let me introduce myself. Im new to this forum, Im Kent is a fan of Kawasaki Ninja ZX14 and also is a person who likes to research on customizing stock's sportbikes into high performance sportbikes specialize in dragging. Hope to get warm welcome from you all and learn from you all as well.

Well, let's start into the contents of this topic. First, which one is the better for Ninja ZX14, supercharger or turbocharger?

My planning project for customizing my ZX14 are:
  1. Vortech V-2 supercharger
  2. NOS (2 bottles)
  3. Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust
  4. K&N Air Filters
  5. Dynojet ZZR1400 Power Commander 3 USB
  6. Billet Adjustable Cam Chain Tensioner
  7. Injectors
  8. Aeromotive Billet Fuel Filter (coarse)
  9. 4 coil MRE Electric/Air Shifter kit
  10. Aeromotive Billet Fuel Pressure Regulator
  11. BTC MOTO Quickshifter 4 Coil Kill Box
  12. Nitrous/ CO2 shifter regulator
  13. Carrillo Con Rod, H Beam
  14. APE adjustable camshaft sprockets & adaptor plates

My objectives on this customizing project:
  • Able to drag less than 10sec in quater miles
  • Truely High Performance Drag Bike
  • Uniquely Customize

The list is what I plan to do with. So can anyone please let me know which parts are more important to custom first before fixing in the supercharger? Which parts should i change(if all above then skipped this), if not please let me know. Which supercharger would you guys recommend for me?

Hope all of you guys can let me know and advice me. Advices and guidances as well as helps are highly appreciates.

How much boost do you plan to run, and what nitrous shot?

Why is it pity to boost a sport bike? Umm.....how much do I want to boost? I just hope that it could be the high performance sport bike... If in boosting the horsepower, I will want to boost it until higher than 600HP and it a true racing performance's sport bike.

For the nitrous shot, I dont know much, but I just can say is not dry shot. Can you help?

Helps are highly appreciates. Thanks in advance and hope to hear more from you.

I hope you have LOTS of experience and life insurance. Not pity, more just "WHY?" Anyway..

As with anything, you will have to work on the things creating and sticking that sort of power to the road... You'll probably need like a 3 foot swing arm.. As for the nitrous shot, make sure you hold on.. I have friends with 175 shots in corvettes, and those are hard to hang on to with the n2o.

What type of help are you looking for? People to build for you, products/vendors, ...?

I can see customizing your bike but one of your criteria is that the bike run 10's or less in the quarter the ZX-14 will do that anyday.

Ya im pretty sure the zx-14 will run 10s stock. If not damn close. If your looking to run 600 horse you dont know what your talking about. Many of the drag busas running only run with boost to about 300-350. Not because there limited because they wont be able to get traction otherwise

Pretty sure the 07 gixxer 1000 was rated at.... ~9.75 in the 1320 footer...

600 horse for a car is quite a bit. No offense dude, but it sounds a little hoakie.. anybody with a brain would be pretty well scared of a bike with that much power.. It's like when I worked on a pit crew in dirt track.. a dude's pit car was a golf cart with a 454 in it. Can we say STUPID? (not to mention dangerous)

600hp from a ZX-14 is probable. 3-4mil overbore, low comp pistons with new rods and worked crank, lots of head porting and turbo cams, put a nice size turbo and crank boost to about 20+ psi.
