Removing forks?

Hello, I have a new 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa. I was wondering the best way to support the bike so I can remove the forks to send them out to get cut to lower the bike 2". What is the best way to do this with the bike being safe until they return?

You could buy a front pit stand. They make a version that allows you to lift the bike without needing to use the fork.

"Professor, what's another word for pirate treasure?"

fork removal

I put two eyebolt screws into the ceiling of my garage and hung my cbr from them with ratchet tiedown straps when I took my forks off. It worked great and didnt cost much . Just make sure you screw the eye bolts into ceiling joist not just sheetrock.
