Holeshot, good news/bad news...need help

Ok, well I got the Holeshot installed It sounds amazing, I love it! Bad news time.... The guy I paid to do the cutting was trying to go for perfection and was cleaning up the cut and wham, now my swingarm has two scratches in it........... He offered to either not have to pay for installation or send in the swingarm for powder coating, which would take two weeks.... What do you guys think? I am working on pics should have them up shortly.

No holeshot decal on the new ones, it's laser etched on the end cap.

Yeah, I think that is what I am going to do. He better let me schedule it for the week after the rally.

I guess you will have to dismantle the swing arm from the bike to get it powder coated won't you? Maybe you should have it powder coated the same as your bike....blue? maybe....
That will take a special socket tool to get it off.

He is going to completely dismantle it and ship it to someone else to get powder coated, it's going to sit on a stand in his garage for two weeks.

ahhh that really sucks to have it gone for two weeks.
My exhaust came with a sticker on it, but it also came with a metal plate, and two rivets. I guess I need to remove the sticker that's on it now, and hopefully there are two holes behind it for me to slide the rivets into. If not I've got an extra sticker it came with so I can put another one back on.

Mine came with a sticker, I guess I could stick it on it....

I don't think a blue swingarm would look nice, I will stick with black.

Yeah put the sticker on so it doesn't look so factory. Oh and you're right on the color....black frame, black swing arm does look best.

only problem with the sticker is it is kinda bland... It kinda looks like the logo on top the front page of the website... It also doesn't look like a well made sticker, probably would come off with the heat of the pipe.

Wait til you hear it, it sounds amazing. It is very loud, it makes the stock pipe sound like a little girl, but it sounds really good and not annoying like another certain loud pipe.

The Holeshot pipes are really nice. If it were me I'd take a sharpie marker to the scratches and take the free install. 0 down time and the you have your first (of probably many) "character marks". I used to obsess about my bike but after 2 driveway drops I've pretty much gotten over it. Anyways, great choice on a great pipe and alot of people will not have even heard of them so you won't be just like everybody else.
