General 2007 R1 Information

Ok, so I didn't know exactly where this should go since it's just general bs. I figure that one of our excellent moderators will find a perfect home for this besides the Yami section, since this is general knowledge for us all. All you have to do is zoom into the picture, sorry about the quality, didn't put the settings right on the digital sender at work. It was in the 2006 August issue of Motor Cyclist.

I hate this time of year when everyone is talking about what is coming out and how they are going to upgrade. I so gotta talk my wife into a change.

You are getting a change Fatburg, from a family of two to a family of three. Better luck asking for a side car for the baby seat.

I am sorta like that...

Hate black cars! They look good off the showroom floor but never again after that. Too hard to keep clean, suck to clean, and show everything.

But the chop is black cause its classic sexy with the chrome and doesn't usually get too dirty!

I hate white cars, but I drive one. It had a good price tag on it though because I bought it off my sister, so she could get a bigger car and I could get rid of my gas guzzling truck when I was commuting to college.

Here's some speculation on the new R1 for 2007:

I like the fact that they know their midrange is lacking and they're working on it. May just be comparable in torque w/ the GSXR. The ZX-10 is a force too.

I've always liked the Yami's for looks. Their design teams really go the extra bit to keep the bikes sexy.

I like the changes, I think that var-intake system is going to be much like the VETC in honda cars . Sounds pretty bada$$.
