R6 clipons

anyone on here have any problems w/ stock r6 clipons breaking?? I know a few stunters have but their bikes get abused often lol

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems w/ them from ordinary riding or the occasion wheelie/endo.

My buddy is getting a r6 soon and doesnt do any stunting. Just wanted to know if i should have him swap out for some woodcrafts or vortex before its too late

I had an '04 (19.5k miles) and now ride a '06 R6 (around 9k). The clip-ons are fine. I wouldn't worry too much. Stunters are only good at fu*kin' bikes up.

Lol very true we do tend to destroy stuff.

I know ive had numerous drops on my stock f4i clipons which are turned out so stick out even further and worst thing thats happend is broken insert for barends.

ive just heard horror stories about ppl setting wheelies down and the clipon snapping off, or mid endo clipons giving out. Definately doesnt sound like fun to me

I have a 00 R6 and one night at a bar it fell over and the right clip on snapped right at the starter/kill switch box. I went over the handlebars doing a stoppie on my F4i and it landed on the right side as well but nothing happened except for a broke mirror and bent brake lever. So going from my "experience" with it I'd say the R6 clipons suck. Just my though

A nice set of woodcraft clip ons might fix these problems.
