The r6 front fairing looks better than the r1 IMO, but I like the look of the undertail exhaust better than the shorties!

I like the euro paints better. But one thing that I cannot stand about the Honda and Yamaha 1000s is the plastic tanks! Yes, it does eliminate weight but dude, i need some place to stick my magnetic DoD sticker on so I can take if off right as a ride off the base!

Cops around here HATE military bikers and look for any reason to harrass the biker if they know it's a military person.

The tank isn't plastic. The tank is metal. The airbox cover in front of the tank is plastic. Yamaha makes a sport tankbag with see through top cover specifically for their bikes with plastic airboxes that I have, you can get it for $45 at rickroushaccessories.com

You could probably grab a set from the blue euro r1 off of ebay or a forum or something... you'd take a hit on shipping, but it would be ill.
