First Bike!?!

Hey guys. Well my story is that I have ridden bikes for quite a while now and I am now looking into getting the first bike on my own. I have rode a street bike every summer for about 4 years now and finally can afford it. Anyways, there are a few in my area available right now and I'm just curious what you guys think would be better for me... A 1990 Yamaha FZR600, or a 1997 Yamaha YZF 600R? The 97 is a little more money, but not a big deal. I was personally thinking the YZFR because it is going to weigh a bit less. Thanks and lemme know!

Since you have riding experience either should work. Which ever one is most appealing and comfortable to you.

Truth!! If your in love with the twistys the 97 would probly be the better choice! But if your faith in yourself isn't too strong then you may want to wreck the cheapest!

I love my 92 FZR.

The only bummer about it is that I have long legs and my knees go over the tank "cut-outs". I do not notice it when I have my leathers on but I can feel it if I am just wearing jeans. Something to think about...
