My R6s isnt starting!!!!!

If someone could help me please... I just bought a brand new 2008 yamaha r6s like about two weeks ago. Today I was riding it around for a while, then I turned it off, and when I went to turn it on it didnt want to start. It starts to make sort of a clicking noise. I have taken it to the shop twice. The first time they told me the battery had bad cells. The second time they told me that the regulator/rectifier cable was slightly disconnected but they supposedly fixed it. Its fustrating as hell! Its a brand new bike. Dose anyone have an idea what might be going on? Can i fix it myself?

Seriously suggest you make the dealer take that one back and give you a new one since they cant fix it right. you have rights under the law when it comes to lemons. Dont try anything yourself thats what the warranty is for and the moment you do you flush that down the toilet dont let them bully you, its a brand new bike for crying out loud. If all else fails get a GIXXER.

The clicking noise you are hearing is most likely the starter solenoid engaging, but the starter is not turning due to not enough juice from the battery.Sounds like you got something eating up your could be a parasitic drain, which i dont know how common it is on bikes (i'm a chrysler tech, they are common) thats killing your battery or a charging issue, which could be barely pushing out enough juice to keep the bike running, but kills the battery OR perhaps OVERCHARGING, which would be cooking your battery.

I would suggest to lemmon law the bike if they dont fix it the 3rd time, but honestly, i think its a simple problem thats getting worked on by simple people.

Good luck!
