Hey everyone, you have a new yamaha guy here!!! :dthumb: Im riding a 05 black R6 that I love the hell out of. But anyway I just wanted to say Hello!
Welcome :twfrox: May I suggest if you have not already done so... Buy a steering Damper... before you do anything else to that bike... It's a great looking bike but I just seen first hand what not having that damper can do to it...shfifty said::dthumb: Im riding a 05 black R6 that I love the hell out of. Check with SpeedWerks (they are a sponsor of this site) on a damper, they should be getting them soon. I just bought a GPR damper for my '05 R6 from eBay. However, if you go the eBay route, make sure to contact the seller to be certain they have the '05 mount in stock. Only one of the 3 that I contacted actually had it in stock even though they had it listed on their auction. That seller was 58cycle. They had a blue and a black one and I got the blue one. Anyway, it would be a wise investment.shfifty said:Holy Crap...I hope your friend is okay...seeing that picture makes me wanna cry :sob: ,,,...so basically the steering damper helps keep the front end under control!!!
