2001 R1 temperature question

how high does it suppose to go when you're dealing with stop and go traffic? just curious.

Probably shouldn't go over 220 somin..... why is yours gettin real hot?

I don't know about the Yammers, but my fan on my F4i comes on at 222 and I haven't seen it rise above 229...

Close to the 9R... but it would come on about 216 and it it hits 229 the overheat light is on!

The 220 mark is about average for most bikes today. Some can get a little warmer safely but not much. My Gixxer seems to maintain 190 to 215 pretty well.
