a man of such few words!
YEA RIGHT! We couldnt beg him enough to shut up about it on the way home! I felt bad for the guy until i heard the story for the 86 millionth time, hah. His dad was the best though, will was tellin him about his tires, and how he lost his concentration, and his dad just goes "you low sided cause you turned to hard, right".
either way, drewp was a crazy man. lesser riders would have called it a weekend after that, but he was a trooper. not sure if its been posted yet, cause i'm prolly the last person to make it back to TWF. still tryin to catch up w/ everybody. Still dont know what stories have been posted and whatnot, i KNOW we have a few more to cover
important lessons learned- never think one more trip to the gap then im going to buy tires, never check your air pressure at home then think it will be the same when you get there and most importantly, never lean farther then your bike will allow....
Truff. remember what i told you after i left today (and you jumped my bike, lol) you'll be just fine!
and if anyone has good photos please post esp the carsh site so i can forward them to the insurance company
I got some, but wont be able to upload them for a while. i'll do my best.
I have a few to add to your collection that I took after I rolled up on your ass in that corner.
I felt like those Harley and BMW cruiser guys slamming on their brakes in a tight corner.
We had to mount up his headlights with a cargo net. Hey when your desperate to ride...we'll rig anything up!
HAHAHAH, that is when rae goes "oh its not so bad *snap* ... oops"
Some people dont think they need leather. What is your take, drewps?
Glad you're ok.
hope thats not a stab at me. I saw first hand how much protection leather gives you. i know for a fact drewp is a hard rider, and he barly came out of that with any scratches.
