Though we would be a bit rusty from the winter off... What a way to get back into it!!!
Only thing about april is the rain. You could come down here for a week and not get a day of nice weather or have freakin drought and it be really nice. It's a dangerous choice. Summer has afternoon rain showers, but they tend to dry up real fast.

In that case, if this is a relatively non-busy weekend, I say keep it...

I really want to get down there sometime!
Think I'll be trailering though, 1250 miles per mapquest...

I think this was pretty decent. For my first trip it wasnt over crowded, not to the point I felt it unsafe and the weather was beautiful, if a lil warm in full leathers!

I am so coming for more than 3 days tho, like hubby said, this requires a full week!

I think we should just go ahead and call it June 2nd-8th, 2008. Have the official rally cookout on friday the 6th and be done with it and start planning for next year. I like keeping saturday night open instead of doing the cookout then because all the other rallys have their rally on saturday nights and that means we have the dragon relatively uncrowded.

Well before I read the thread I voted for off-season not really thinking about exactly what the weather would be like...

I am going either way... This weekend sounds the best though...

Highly doubtful. It's just too close to when I go on vacation with my wife and her family. Ain't no way I can get out of that. And can't take that much vacation at once from work.

So looks like I'll be missing all future TWF rally's.

sorry to hear it marko.

was hoping we could get a NE convoy to the gap next year
and meet up with everyone.
ahhhh, we'll see as the time gets closer.

anyway this time of year is tough, with the kids still being in
school. for me anyway.

don't know what other dates would work for EVERYONE.
