I know you would have to get a pretty big hard drive to get the type of quality I wanted out of my videos to make it last all day that would of just been outrageous in price compared to what I got my Canon for.

Yeah, I was looking at a minimum of 30gb... I think that's good for about 3 hours at the highest quality settings, but I would probably go for medium quality to get more time... Or just say fluck it and get the 60gb version... Those are crazy pricey... Perhaps I can get the 20gb and hack it...

Maybe I will just go cheaper and get the miniDV...

Yeah another thing you have to worry about is bringing your laptop or an external HD. Because you would have to empty your hard drive every night. Tapes I can just throw in my luggage and forget about til I get home. Pros and cons to both, I ended up with miniDV because I wanted to go the cheap route.

Ok I will let you know, I ran into some trouble with the pack of dvdrs I bought to try to burn them and they wont work with my burner. So I need to try and see if I can get them exchanged. So I have yet to send any out.

Yeah I've seen it. I think they sound like crap of tv. Heck they barely sound good when you're riding. I had one for years.
