Have owned a number of Bologna models over the years, from supersports to superbikes to sport touring. Possibly my favorite make. They've never let me down, and have always over delivered.

Nice assessment. I'm starting to really dig the monster.

I really wanted a Monster before I got the 600rr, I actually had the money saved for one. Then I got this dumb idea to buy a rock and a band of metal, yes yes I am idiot. I may still get one at a later time. Have something for more around town use that is comfortable and better suited for 2 up, but keep the CBARRR because I love it.

My buddy Ray here at work has an 05 Monster 800. Nice little bike and the SSS is cool but I hate the two pipes on the side. There has to be something aftermaket better than the OEM setup.

I like the red with white stripe I like the dual pipes too. The earlier ones had the pipes on both sides but they drag during hard cornering supposedly....

I had a 748, yellow, biposto, FbF exhaust and some tuning... loved it... sold it cause I never rode...

I ended up buying the Busa when the finances presented the opportunity to purchase another bike because I thought I would ride more and didnt want to pay the Ducati maintenance. I was wrong... I rode just as little with the Busa as I did with the duc.

Busa is gone, now I am waiting a season and getting either a monster or the 1098... Im leaning more towards the monster and getting another 748 or older 996 as a track bike....

but yeah, I have had a duc
