the 999 and 749 cant hold a candle to the 1098 and 848- at least in looks and sex appeal

price

what kind of price are we talking about? I was hoping the 749 would be my next bike, but now I guess it is the 848.

Great bike....but it doesn't do as much for me as the 1125R.

$13K??? For the extra $2K I'd get the standard 1098.

Looks like they killed the ST3 / ST4? I can't find it on the website.

The 696 looks good, but I'd want a bikini fairing option before I could justify the purchase, I need at least a little wind protection.

1098 in white might look cool. I better pick up a part time job slingin' crack or something.

The 1098 is 3K more new than the 848. I went to the launch event and it is basically the same bike frame, body, but missing the monoblock brakes and, of course the power. You can get a used 1098 for just a few hundred bucks more than a new 848 and probably get some mods.

The 848 is beautiful, but the 1098 is nicer IMHO.
