father-in-law's new toy...

my f-i-l just picked up one of these boss hoss trikes for a mere 50Gs. it's a nice trike, but mammoth!! his is like the one attached below but it is black w/ yellow and orange flames on it. i'll hafta get a pic of his sometime.

a Boss.... those things are BadAss!... I love just walking throught the shop here... but they make me carry a mop when I do I'm sure he is going to enjoy that, to the fullest.... don't forget to ask for a solo ride....

i don't know if i could even get my legs around that beast to reach the foot controls! he'd let me take it out though, i just don't think i'd want too. that is waaaay too much bike for me.

nope, he's keeping that to take my girls for rides. he's at the age now where his knees are bothering him, so he is getting into the 3 wheelers now because of that. he changes bikes more than i change underwear though...so no telling what he'll own next. right now it's this and the dresser w/the sidecar.

he chose this over a harley trike because this would be built for him for cheaper than a harley would be. he woulda had to build the harley trike himself to to come in as cheap as the boss hoss, or so he says. either way, it's alotta scratch. i'm sure they have little or no equity left in their home anymore. my in-laws like to throw their $$ at pricey toys.

Is that a MotorTrike...based in Tyler Texas? It looks a lot like the kit Off4ever had installed on his VTX 1800...

it's a boss hoss, V8. it was built at the dealer in frederick, MD. i hear it has a corvette engine or something. that's about all i know.

I was talking about the rear kit...the axle and rear suspension and bodywork...
