Mv Agusta F4 CC (why?)

www.mvagustausa.com

I know that we are accustomed to our inline 4's costing about 10K or less, and when a sportbike is priced anywhere near a dresser HD its "too much". This bike may put even the Desmosedici RR in perspective... $120,000 worth of perspective.

you can check out the site but it doesn't explain the reason why it is 6 fiqures.

I do believe it is a racing version but not real sure.

Yeah I just read it. It says alot of "one off" bits on there but that's insane cash.

it looks like the whole fairing and body parts are all carbon fiber. can't really tell since it never says.

but the bike does only weigh 186 or such but that would explain it some what.

That is crazy light you are getting a hell of alot of performance for the money but not for me I bet a bunch of rich posers will buy them and not ride them I hope to see one on the road at some point that would be awesome...

I love the MV Agusta, F4 but there is no way in hell I'd spend 120K. I'd just buy me a standard F4 1000S and a brand new Porche 911 and have money left over.

its alot of one off parts, we're also forgetting the 200hp part, only 50 of these bikes being produced, some people feel the price of exclusivity is worth it, 120,00 in perspective, take a guy who makes over 100k a year(about 10% of the US population) for them to buy a bike for that much money is no different than someone who earns 20-25k (about 50% of the US pop believe it or not)a year buying a ducati. as a former owner of a 996sps, an RC45, and 2 Bimota's i dont think its worth the price, i got about 13k into my gsxr thou and get just as many looks as all the others, maybe not first glance but certainly more admiring it, and it outperforms all my pre. bikes except my race prepped sps, but that motor had an avg life of 450miles before a rebuild!!!

plus its also about marketing, Ducati came out with the Desmocidi for around 80k, this is just MV Agustas way of saying we're just as good if not better than Ducati, it helps keep that MV Agusta exclusivity.

i understand "halo" models, but just being a signature model does nothing for me. Now if this were a homologation model i may understand more, but a signature model?!?! Their "Ago" & "Sienna" tribute models are unnessicarily mad expensive as well. Then again, yuppies spend jack like this on choppers and chaps so why not get some of that yuppie action eh-

Nice bike but the sticker shock is just too much. The people that can afford them wont be able to ride them and just kill themselves. I dont even think a GP bike costs that much to build.

It's okay looking bike it doesn't look like anything special. Hell, I think all the Yamaha's and Suzuki's look better! I'm sure it'll haul ass too, but how much faster can it really be?
