They make a decent looking sportbike and cruiser. We almost bought the wife one but ended up with a Yamaha. I've heard good things about them though.

they def. were (b4 the new Ninja 250) the best looking 250

I bought a Hyo GT650, blinkers, pipe, new headlight, nekkid lady tank grabber . Just using it to build my credit back up, it is pretty fun though. Kind of nice not being just another face in the crowd.

There are some mayor differences between the Ninja and the HYO. First of all the Hyo is more expensive.. a couple hundred at the least. Offers inverted forks, dual disk brakes and is a FULL size bike. The frame Hyosung has made for Suzuki.. it's based upon the GS500 frame. You get more horse power (31 horse to the wheel) and the torque of a V-Twin.

On the other hand.. the Kawasaki always been a good 250cc. To bad that not much of the engine had changed. It's a bit faster on the top end than the Hyosung and obviously has the brand awareness which also counts for a lot.

I think that bigger riders fit better on a hyo as to were female riders probably be at home better on the Ninja.. You need to be about 5"4 to fit on the Hyo (unless you buy the lowered version)

All with all.. both great beginner bikes if you ask me!

of course you're not, you bought a hyosung.

As far as looks go, i think the trophy goes to the Kawi 250.
As far as performance goes, i may lean towards Hyosung. Dual disk brakes makes a HUGE difference, along w/ some other slight diferences between the two.

Hi, I just got an 07 UM 250R it's a great bike but the the windshield vibrates badly and it's really loud. I've tightened the screws but the seemed to only make it worse. Anyone have or had the same problem? Any Ideas?

I just bought a 250R and I like it a lot but the windshield vibrates badly. It's very noisy. Have you heard any complaints about this? Any Ideas?
