Yeah... it also gives the date of manufacture... which helps because oftentimes certain series of bikes have issues, like say, a certain month or batch. I guess that can all be gotten from the vin as well though. Hmm maybe I'll take it off on sunday...

personally preferences but it serves no purpose other than making it easy for the world to get ya VIN #. For them to get it off the frame they would look awful suspicious.

Actually now that you mention it mine is bothering me... you can see it in my sig on the upper frame tube ...

well on our model CBR's the VIN is on the frame right on the left side for all too see. Looks tacky to me if it was hiden been diff.

the spec/warning stickers and the VIN one on the frame. The VIN is stamped into the frame so ya sont need the sticker unless you just want it. It gives a more clean uniformed look.

jimbo69ny It works good. I like it. It came with everything I needed. But I am also installing an undertail and it doesnt have the mounting brackets that the stock undertail has. So I need to figure out how to install it. But Ill get it.

Hopefully Ill get pics up soon.

eh thats the one with the droped down taillight with the fender n chyt. You need one like the one I installed on my F4.

Gas Man It tells you... but simply hook up your tail lights on the output, then hook up the brake,run, and turn signla inputs... it does the rest.
