Anyway, Palmeiro's stats increase substantially after Canseco joined the Rangers and allegedle introduced Palmeiro to steroids.

yeha yeah yeah, but they should just do it like the rest of us, through hard work and working out!

Lay off the roids and eventually go back to little and flabby, just have small nads then.

Windigo The thing is that if a few guys get a better performance than others because they are usuing steroids, then other guys will be tempted to do that stuff too... better performance = bigger contract. It is a good thing to punish the steroids user in professionnel sport , that way there will be less chance for a excalade in the taking of those products, and the one that cannot perform without it wont go far in professionnal sports.

How do you knock off a commisioner (legally)? Is it like process were the fans say take a hike or just the Owners and the MLBPA have a say? His term is over December of 2007. You know, I must have deleted that comment about his All-Star Fiasco earlier, but you summed it up nicely

This is the business side of baseball where Im unfarmiliar. Ive played the game since I was 2, so I guess my view is more on the players (who arent roiding it up) who just want to play baseball. I never paid much attention to politics in baseball until I was in High School. Personally I think politics in anything spoils ones purity...

Yep the 1919 world series fiasco. I take it youve seen the movie Eight Men Out? Im sure its fluffed for entertainment, but its actually not a bad movie. I wonder how accurate it is? As for our commish now, I dont think Mr. Selig has the cojones to clean up MLB real good. But who knows. I guess Bud is just trying to make everyone happy, but I dont think its working very well...

I just heard today that there was no doubt that Raffy had steroids in his body. In other words, it was the kind that doesnt acidentally get in your body, like Raffy stated. Dark days for baseball are still ahead.

What's this all about? I mean, unless you're planning on flaming another member, using swear words or posting porn you can freely express your opinion.

I don't think our rules, here, are out of line.

What's frustrating is when people complain we allowed too much. So, we take action, create written rules and now this. I mean, seriously, what can I do to make it easier for everyone to understand?

If you can express yourself like an adult, use common courtesy I see no reason to fear posting your opinion.

BTW, the rules aren't new either. They're just written down and reference-able now.
