I think you are missing the point...the secondary throttle opens slowly to keep the intake velocity from dropping suddenly. The manufacturers do that so it is not as sensitive to throttle inputs....

I'm not talking about dual injectors. Most of the manufacturers have a second set of butterfly plates that you don't control...they are controlled by the ecu. Yamaha even used a set of diaphrams...
