hey guys. can some one tell me why my temp guage is reading celcius, and also my odometer is just flashing. I am trying to sell the bike and I hate telling people that I'm not sure one the exact miles. please help guys I have tried just about every button combination possible.

The temp gauge in celcious? What is the speedo in?

Does the odo read the miles at all?

the odo just flashes dashes. the speedometer seems normal. by the way i really appreciate your help

Yes, it the speedo in metric? Therefor the bike being a metric bike!?!?

It shouldn't matter. It is a North American bike, It should be able to switch back and forth. (not certain)
Contact your local dealer service Dpt. and they should be able to tell you.
Maybe Larry G will check this thread.

Jeeps I don't believe they switch over... Remember... you're dealing with digital inputs on a analog gauge style cluster!

I'm not very familiar with that bike to start with. I just know every bike I've seen with dig gauges can switch back an forth.
If it has an analog speedo. That should answer the question.
Seems that if it was an American issue bike. It would be big numbers in mph.

The big numbers are mph. It would be the other way around on Euro or Canadian bikes. wouldn't it?

Have Blade, the owner of my 9R...look it up in the service manual. I can't remember if I shipped the owners manual or if it's locked in the bike... if he's got it..he can check there as well....

hey guys just to clear things up a bit. the speedo is in mph. everything worked fine when I bought the bike this spring.you guys are on here nonstop. do you guys ever sleep. lol if not neither do I. at least you guys give me something to do in the middle of the night. we will get this thing figured out one of these days. you guys rock
