I think most sport turing tires would be fine for the little R.
They have softer compound rubber on the side and harder in the middle.
Just make sure you get sport turing and not turing tires.
I have been happy with the Dunlop D220's
They take a little longer to heat up but stick.
Most any brand would be fine for a newbie.
