I think I'll head north today, maybe up to Sedona or over to Prescott to see some pine and aspen, ...before it all burns this summer. :yikes: I know most of you are still in deep hibernation or worse, so there's probably not a lot of empathy out there, but man, if we don't get some moisture it's gonna be a firestorm this summer. I used to live up in Payson, elevation 5200 ft., and even a "mild" winter up there meant diseased and dried up forests, so at this point....? 'Controlled burn' is an oxymoron, like 'honest politician.'

Anyway, be somewhat grateful for your snow drifts...and do a raindance for us! :willy:

Hehe, thats because you are able to ride still.

Hope your trees don't burn down though... again!
Back at ya' buddy.

Hope the massive autoworker layoffs don't deflate your local economy and real estate values...again!

:neen:

BTW, it was 56 here when I left and only got colder as the road climbed. I'm sure you'll be riding this summer and enjoying it while I'm hiding inside from the 120 degree blister-rama we call August.

Hmmmm, lets see. About 8 hours since the last rain drop. Oh well it will be nice in not long at all. Hell I am looking forward to those95 degree days with 100% humidity in august.

That is a great smiley.

I remember the days when I could wash my car, dust it perdiodically and not wash it for months. One of the few things I miss about AZ.

You're going to have a bad fire season.

I've about worn out my California Duster on the 'vette, I've washed it twice in 4 months. The bike just got a complete detail 'cause I ran through wet paint :cursin: , but before that it had last been washed I think in August '05.

Like I said, fires are already starting.

Thanks for any rain dances! :willy: :willy: :willy:
