unless you can guarantee that getting rid of the bike will make everything all better... why bother doing it ? I know its a ruff time when there's family tension..but canning the bike is sometimes a knee-jerk reaction, so make sure u think about it first, long and hard.

Keep the bike!! It is cheaper than the pub. Besides, if you are about to upend your life, you need to be clear headed. I've been down this road. You have to be very careful with the decisions you make and need to stifle emotions and keep your head...Riding got me through, besides, unless the bike is the reason for the split, why give it up??
