Alright guys, unfortunately it has come time for me to sell my baby. She is a 2001 Yamaha YZF-R6 in fine condition. Locasted in York, PA zip code 17362. It runs like a bat out of hell with 14,XXX miles. I bought it a year and half ago with less than 7,000 miles, obviously it was a blast to ride. However, due to financial problems, I am forced to sell it. If I ever buy another bike in the future, believe it will be this same bike... I love the way it is done up appearance wise. It offers the highest standard of all variables when looking into buying a bike; styling, performance, comfort, and most importantly, notariety with the women : ) I have the title in hand, so no BS with paying banks or anything like that. Upgrades include a Scotts steering dampener, Jardine slip on exhaust, fender eliminator, aftermarket flushmount turn sigs on front and the rear are integrated into the taillights. The front tire has about 250 miles on it, and the rear has I'd say about 1,500, about 50% tread. Pictures are very defining of this bikes raw, sexy, as well as sleek appeal. It has always been garage kept. I am including an extra complete set of fairings in decent shape(minus the upper) that you could paint, sell, or do whatever you wish with(I do have the tank that is not pictured, it is half blue half white, it matches the rest of them). I will also include my helmet, all of the stock parts and extras that I have as well, which is a lot of stuff.
As you can see in the pics, this thing is beautiful. The damage is low, but I must tell you that it was dropped at a stand still on the left side, and a low speed lay down due to running over spilled brake fluid in the garage on the right(see pics). Aesthetically it is a beautiful piece of machinery, but when picked apart, the bike is not in prestine condition however would not take much work to get it there. The damage is minimal, but all the flaws are touched up(by me, not professional). It looks virtually flawless from 5 feet away. It has always been meticulously maintained, never raced, and always treated with respect.
I am listing it at $4250 firm and with all that I am including with the sale and knowing otherwise that this bike is worth well over that. Kbb's retail is $5150 with a considerable amount more mileage, and trade in is $3545. Therefore i think my selling price is more than reasonable. Please do not send any low-ball offers as I am obviously looking for a quick sale with this price. I will not budge, it is the absolute lowest I will go becuase I know it is worth it. If you have any questions at all or would like to schedule a viewing, shoot me an e-mail at
[email protected] . I rarely check these bike sites, so for anything, please e-mail me there and make the subject heading R6. Thanks for your time and have a fun and safe riding season.
