Big project - got an F4i engine from a guy, complete with wiring and computer. Putting it in a kart. I jumpered the clutch switch, the kickstand switch, the bank angle sensor (I think it's right), and it will crank but no start. I don't have a schematic of the B.A. switch, but when I turn the key, the Engine Stop relay clicks and sends out power. The Fuel Pump relay won't click, but it's energized by the ECU. The MIL light doesn't come on, but the ECU has power getting to it. Seems like the ECU isn't awake. I don't have O2 sensor yet, I thought it would at least start without them. I have a manual, that shows the wiring diagram, but that diagram show one 4-wire O2 sensor, but my wiring harness has plugs for two 3-wire O2 sensors. I compared this to my 900RR, but it's not even close, due to the EFI. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, any place to send an ECU to get it tested? Any idea which ECU is correct for the 2002 600 F4i? Thanks for any help.
