Hello group, first off , let me say thanks to all the members of the site, all your comments on other issues have been very informative. Names Bill, I just bought a new 2003 CBR1000xx, also I'm new to the sportbike world and I'm taking it slow. I looking for info on upgrading the exhaust (slip-on vs full system, power commander and still keeping it street legel??). I'm having a problem with people pulling over on me with the stock pipes. I also own a Intruder w/cobras and haven't had that problem in the past. So if anyone could give me some info on the best course of action and maybe a place the get the work done would be greatly appreciated. Live in Crystal Lake, IL (Northwest burb of Chicago)

Thanks Bill

Welcome to TwoWheelForum Bill!

A good quality slip on, such as Yoshimura, M4, Leo Vince (which we just installed on our project CB900F), Hindle, Laser and a dozen others, should do the job based on your needs. Add a Power Commander for a bit of tuning, using one of the many programs they have available for download off their website for your specific application and mods.

The current (June) issue of 2Wheel Tuner has an exhaust buyer's guide it in that will give you basic pricing, contact info, and specs for a majority of systems available on the market, from slip on to full race. Look for it on newsstands around the world.
