165hp and 82ft of torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BONE STOCK!!!!!!

This GSXR pulled 165hp and 82lbs of torque on the same dyno, with the
same fuel and the realitivly the same conditions as the R1 (156hp),
ZX10R (158), CBR1K (152), Busa (162) did........It's all relitive.
Given the same Dyno, same fuel, and the same climate controled
building......a 2005 GSXR1000 made more power than any other bone
stock bike ever strapped to the KWS Motorsports Dyno.

i knew the gixxer was gonna have more hp this year but i think that might be a little off. i will say it probably is the highest hp this year but i dont know about that high, we will wait and see. it all dont matter caseu they can only go 186-187 lol. and i really hope they stop making more hp with them or the goverment is jsut gonna freak out and do something stupid.

Well what I wonder is when are these manufactures going to push the limit too far. Eventually they are going to cross that fuzzy line of power vs reliability????

i would have to say they are getting pretty close. of coarse you never knwo maybe in 5 years there will be TT modles like a zx-10rtt (twin turbo). lol now that would be pushing it way way way to far.but yes i do agree they are already pushing these motors really hard, and for some reason they usually just dont break. plus if you compare it to a car which breaks all the time. a bike is pulling alot less weight and some of them have the same if not more HP than some cars.

It just makes me like my bike that much more.
Now, if I can just get through this damn break-in period...

GsxrJack, I spent almost $4000 on my '90 1100, didn't do the extent of mods you did, and only got 138rwhp. I guess I should have gotton more for the money, but it did last four race seasons and was my daily driver.
