Well, I promised a new thread so here it is! This is one serious machine!! I got 176 miles on her now. Looked at the weather report this morning, "10% chance of light isolated shower." Thought, "Cool. I can ride!!!." Got out and terrorized the town. Bout an hour later, got POORED ON!!!!!!!!! :yikes: :wbs: :cursin: I was pretty far from home so I just had to tough it out. Didn't look like it was going to let up so I just headed home in it. Got home and looked at my brand new bike soaking wet and covered in road grime. Then the rain stopped. :bash: Got out the water hose and washed off the grime and toweled her dry. I can't post pics!!!!! The boards won't let me!

As soon as I can I will. I've got some ready.

like anything else, if you are prepared for it, it's not so bad. I usually have a backpack with raingear and a first aid kit. riding in the rain is actually fun if you are suited up. cheapo helmets will really show their worth.

yes...yes I did. I cant post attachments though!

and as far as riding in the rain goes, I don't like it. I prefer dry. I didn't so much get wet cause I had a suade coat on and it kept me dry. My legs and feet on the other hand got pretty wet. I just didn't want my bike to be "un-beautified" after just 2 days of owning it!

eh...good enough. I know the Kat is windscreenless. I am buying a new one for it soon. These pics do not do either bike justice. Esspecially the Gixxer. The Gixxer's grey paint sparkles in the sun and it's just not captured in the pics.

I would have taken pictures out of the garage, but it was still raining a bit and I had a promise to keep.

Ebbs, Thanks!!! This girl's a MONSTER!

You know, the first time I saw that pipe, I thought it was ugly too. It's grown on me though! I like it and can't picture the bike without it. Plus, it's got a sweet sound. A nice low rumble at low RPM's (esspecially when engine breaking) that really opens up to howling note at higher RPM's when you're gettin on the throttle. It's not loud, but if I want loud, I'll hop on the Kat. That thing is loud.
