Suzuki announced the naked GSR600 at the Paris Motorcycle Show this week. A modern, powerful 600 featuring a version of the GSX-R powerplant, the GSR600 takes some of the styling cues from the Boost King concept shown at the Tokyo Motor Show several years ago. The sport bike motor has been tuned for broader power and more low-end and mid-range torque.

The GSR600 is fuel injected (utilizing two double-barrel 38mm throttle bodies) and offers extensive instrumentation, including analog tach, LCD digital speedometer, LCD digital gear position indicator, odometer, dual trip meters, fuel gauge and a clock.

The GSR600 meets EURO 3 emissions requirements. No word yet whether this bike will be offered in the United States in 2006. We may know more in a few days.

Ya, there are some small styling differences I guess. The Suzi has smoother lines, nicer swingarm and the adjustable front suspension is a plus. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the full nakid bikes.

I'm kinda surprised Suzi went with this just because of the strong following behind the SV. I guess they just want an inline budget bike to accompany already solid V-twin.

Put a half-fairing on it and I'm in the market. Wouldn't want to be without the wind protection. Great looking bike.

i like it. ive been looking at it on euro boards. Very very yamaha looking, but it works. the swingarm is the most substantial looking ive ever seen on a 600. Yamaha, kawasaki, and honda all have a naked I4 that out classes suzukis bandit, so its time for them to get back in the game.

:iagree: A buddy that owns a bandit is waiting on this in a litter version. I told him not to hold his breath. We don't have the 6 yet. :tt:
