Not sure if it's photochopped or what but found it on Gixxer.com forum... Looks like the shorty exhaust is the key this year...


What do you guys think?

Don't forget about the weight savings from lees mass. The mufflers are a very heavy and almost not needed.

The plastic on the sides looks waaaaaaaaaaaay too fragile. I don't think that would hold up to a 120mph June Bug. Looks kinda funky too, with holes in odd spots. Other than that though, the rest is cool.

My guess on the small mufflers would be weight savings. It would also help centralize the weight of the bike. I wonder what the aftermarket cans will look like for this and the new '06 R6.

I'm with Jeeps on this... you can see this with the 06 1K...the aftermarkets are staying with the design of the manufactures...

This trend with these manufactures going to the short stumpy exhaust tho :scratch: I wonder if the aftermarket exhaust for these new bikes are going to be short and stumpy also....
