All I have to say is 06 R6 - 140hp! That is crazy. 17,500 rpm redline. And the R1 LE is bad ass also - of course so is the price tag - $18,000. But damn. Will Yamaha ever stop the madness? They keep improving on something that should be able to be improved. I want a 06 R1 LE bad.

140hp (crank im sure) sounds like a ton. I'll wait to see on that, but the 17,500 redline is legit and ludacris! Can you imagine how that sounds! I cant wait ot see one in person and for the mag-supersport shootouts.

yea i just read about the new R6 in a magazine at borders the other day! crazy looks and redline!!!

I didnt read about 140hp though...i thought it was more like 120...which is still 10-12 more hp than the 05 model.

17,500 redline..yes...but the powerband doesnt begin until after 10,000rpm.

anyone seen any dyno runs yet? i ask because i saw one on the web where the yammy fell a few grand short of that 17500rpm mark. Yeah that 140 crank number came out way early, so its probably been amended by now.

They got a Raven and a 50th anniversary at the shop here in Vegas. I'm still drooling. That fender has to go though. I'm hearing 120-140 hp at the wheel. Sickness. It is the fastest 600 (including cheater bikes).

its NOT 140 at the wheel.....its more like 125 crank....so 118-120 at the wheel....
