I opened my mouth too soon :bonk: , but I wasn't far off! I thought the ZZR 250 was a 4 cylinder, and that it had the same motor as the ZXR250. Nearly every other marque I've played with has done this! For example, my girlfriends Yamaha Zeal has the same motor as that years FZR250. My old GSX750F had exactly the same motor as a GSXR750, but was approx 20HP less (until I started playing :dthumb: )

The bike I was thinking of is the Kawasaki Balius. Same motor, same bore and stroke, 5.5HP less! (39.5 vs 45)

I still think that 40HP is a bit low for a 250, and that a few aftermarket bits would really free it up, but my "incredibly de-tuned" statement was a bit premature. :sorry:

Note to self: ensure brain engaged before putting mouth in gear!

No matter mate, yeah just a simple inline 2 cylinder.

Not heaps of power, but easily enough power to push me through the traffic in the morning, I have more power to play with on the weekends

Sucks that they offer the better looking ZZR in Canada and Australia but here in the State we get uglified version of the 250. :disapp:
