 W T F ?!?!?!? Okay so this weather is SO ridiculous. Yesterday it was 61 degrees and BEAUTIFUL. HELL, my friend even came over so he could take me for a ride on his bike. And I get up this morning to get Austin up for school and it is S N O W I N G. THAT'S it! I'm packing and moving to Hawaii!!!!!!!!

NOW...as I stated above, I was able to get on the back of a bike yesterday. And let me tell you guys, it was the absolute BEST! Although, I made him ride back to his mother's house to get his other helmet, because there was NO WAY IN HELL I was riding on the back of a bike without him wearing a lid. (He gave me his to wear. You guys would have been proud.) I was a little afraid at first because HELLO I'm NOT a small person and well, and I didn't want him looking like a fool with my fat a$$. But he coaxed and said it would be fine. Also, I was worried because I'm not an experienced passenger on a bike. But WOW! It was great!!!!! Allen was a little leary, just because his wasn't with me, but he was cool with it. I would NOT shut up about it the WHOLE night and I was bugging him to go to PennDot so I could go get my learner's permit and I'm NOW driving him crazy because I was looking at bike's ALL day.

So much for me going for a ride today! :cursin: Mfing snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would say very reliable and super fast. but still not something that they are known for. if you say honda to the average person and they will say car, same thing with susuki, yamaha and kawi ppl would say biek or off road vehicle. so yamaha has a little pit of an edge but they still make musical instruments for band geeks. lol no ofence to anyone.

See, I was stuck on the Honda CBR 600 f4i....But But now I'm not exactly sure. I need a bike that won't be too powerful, just because I'm a new rider and don't want to take on something I can't handle. That would just put me in danger and I don't want to be all squidly about this. If I'm going to ride...I'm going to ride safe. I'm not like first time squids who are like, "Ohhh yeah! I'm the bomb...Blah blah blah." And then 30 seconds later they're getting scraped off the road! Which is why I'm going to take the MSF course. Got some info and reading it over.

I really like all the input you guys have given me. It's diverse and it's good to get a whole bunch of things to ponder.

:twfrox:

Oh It's windy-er than a mofo here!!!! :wtf:

man i really need to take my MSF course. i know i should have already taken it but they where packed full when i bought my bike.
should i take beginner or advance?
Here in Michigan you can't get a spot in the beginner because they supply the bike - so if it is like that take the advanced course - better chance of getting in if you supply the bike - but again note mostly here in Michigan cops or ex-cops teach the classes so don't ride up on your own without a license - they will fail you immediately and/or bust you..

Beginner or Advanced...

Hi All...
I just wanted to wiegh in and get my .02 in. No matter how long you been riding street or dirt, if you have never taken any kind of riding course, take the MSF beginners Course. I did, even though I have been riding both types all my life. All I can say is, if you keep an open mind, you will leave the weekend as a much better rider, and have new confidence in yourself when on your bike. No, I do not work for MSF, even though they did offer me a job as an instructor after I completed the course ! Upon succesful completion in states which require it, you actually leave the course with your Learners permit, and it expedites getting your actual license. Not to mention the money it saves you on your bike insurance.
