Dude, you don't need a busa. Stick with the SV and learn to ride before you buy anything else. That's all I'm gonna say. You'd be much better off by taking your money and investing it in a riding school first and foremost. Improve your skills before you improve the bike. I promise you will see more of an improvment than you would by buying a bigger bike. A bigger bike will just compound your errors. Do yourself a favor and listen to us this time.

Better yet, do your MOM a favor by listening to us. I doubt she really wants to lose her son in a motorcycle accident because he got in over his head.

now, i will say this, i came from a 600 (r6) and i am SO glad i learned how to ride on it (for 2 1/2 years) b 4 i made the jump to a busa. i was gonan go R1, but i found this bike and it was a great deal. anywho.. listen to these people.. ride some more, enjoy urself, the busa is just gonna get u in trouble.

Well it's like tonight... my dipsh*t cousin, who's only by marriage on my wife's side... anyway, he's a idiot and a punk! Always wants to talk to me about sportbikes. And tonight he comes up to me and says in March, him and his buddy are getting 2006 GSX 1000 ( I said you mean Gixxer 1000, he says yeah that's it)... anyway, he's all of maybe 18/19.... and I'm thinkin... :wtf: he is going to kill himself!

Kids these days are just dumb! And it gives the sportbikes and motorcyclist in general bad names! And the worse part... it makes me sound old by saying "kids these days"... :lol:

On this exact person/subject... it would be the topper on the cake for the history we've seen!

Ya most of us that have been around here for a while... remember when he checked in wanting his first street bike, let alone sportbike. He got a SV, then started to ask how to stunt. We told him NO! He did anyway, bragged, got a reckless ticket, and wreck the bike. Now he is going to sell it for a future busa! All in about 6 months time frame... 3 of which the bike has been wrecked! :disapp:
