Im riding down the street in my lane at the posted speed limit of 45. Traffic was heavy at this time caus it was middle of the day on a busy street. Im focused ahead caus people keep stopping, changing lanes etc and this guy on a bike speeds right past me in MY LANE. :yikes: Had I moved an inch or moved to avoid a problem we both would have went down. I dont get it, WTF was this guy thinking. :nonod: He continued down the road weaving in and out of traffic as if he was some super cool guy on a bike. Not cool even if you have been riding for a long time, you shouldnt ride and put other peoples safety on the line especially someone else on a bike for god sakes. Is this normal behavior? You guys/gals that have been riding for a long time, do you do this too?

I have taken full advantage of my bike when I have been in a hurry on more than on occasion. I want put another rider in danger doing so. I would give the other rider enough time to know I was their and pass safely. It doesn't matter if I'm on a twisty road and wanting to go faster or in traffic.

Lane sharing is legal in California. Doesn't make a difference if it is a car or another bike. I'm sure cars feel the same thing when I pass them in their lane, but it's legal and a fact of life here in So Cal.

There has been times when I am riding with a group of riders on twistys and i get so pissed off after a while because the guy/gal in front of me isn't fast enough so I pass them in the same lane. I don't do it so much while in town during heavy traffic, but I'm sure I have done some stupid moves.

I think we all made stupid moves. I just hope we are all smart enough to realize what we did and how stupid it was. So not to do it again.
:iagree: Seriously. We've all done something stupid. On the bike or not. We just try not to have too many of those (hopefully... :angelhap: )
