W/E = WEEKEND
HR = HERE
J/K = JUST KIDDING
POS = PIECE OF SHYT

MC = MOTORCYCLE

Yes I'm serious and didn't make those up.... don't even get me started on all the abreviations that we use at my work on our global chit chat screen.... I have to catch myself all the time typing them on my posts.... go back and correct them then post...

I thought they kinda looked wierd too. I've seen ROTFL, but never ROFL or HR. The former would be obvious, but not the latter.

How about some forum-specific ones:
SIIHP - stick it in her (his) pooper/puss (sorry ladies, from a car forum )
PHITS - punch him/her in the stomach
SBW - Sportbikeworld

And generalized, non-acronym ones:
Mods - moderators, semi-powerful guys you shouldn't piss off; they patrol a specific section of a board like Beginner's Corner
Supermods - supermoderators, powerful guys you shouldn't piss off; they patrol entire boards like TwoWheelForum
Admins - administrators, forum gods that shouldn't even be looked at wrong; they maintain the boards, setting configurations, mods/supermods, and know all

That's just a few that we use on our global chit chat screen to talk to each other and the pipeline system controllers...
