how hard is it to switch a title over that is salvage like when you buy a bike, a guy wants to buy my bike but we have a salvage title is that going to create any problems for him.. ! :scratch:

Hmmm... it may. You might want to switch tactics, start advertising it as a track bike. I know there are some track bike-specific classified ad places out there, I just can't think of any. Might wanna try roadracingworld.com for a look.

The buyer has to buy the bike either on a credit card, or cash purchase...no bank will give a loan for a salvage titled vehicle. Other than that it shouldn't be too big of a problem. :luck:

The Fact that it....

Is a Salvage title will not affect the transfer of the title from your state to the new owners state, it is just a designator so that anyone considering purchase of that vehicle will/should know that the vehicle has been wrecked severly enough to have required an extensive rebuild. Some state's also use the salvage title designator to alert people to the fact that a particular vehicle has been "Totaled" by an Insurance company. It protects people from shady business owners.
