well wasent too bad but it kinda rose the hair on me neck

i have been taking advantege of the rain for the past couple days to see how the tire hold upp in the rain..... not going crazy but i am curious to what they do under a lil water

well i was riding in the rain and just taking some long turns so i can varry the lean and everything like i said ealier to get the feel for the rain.....and i had been taking that road for like 10 min

then i had the gas icon blink so i turned around to get gas and it got real sunny real quick so by the time i got to the station it was like a normal day to me except the road was still wet

so on the way home i hit the turn again and hit a loose rock with the front tire and i felt it slip and then catch it made the hair raise and sent chills up my back!!

well i kinda got the feel for the rain now lol i was in a good lean and the tires were good!!! it just jumped the rock lol

i also tried this but in a different approach when i first got my bike.
lol i was stuck in the pouring rain on the way home, i dont like to lean the bike in the rain period just becasue if there is oil on the road you def gonna hit ti now. but anyways i was 1 min form my house and there is a hill. so in the middle of the hill i clutch, rev, release clutch to see if it spins up the hill. welp i guess not since the front end came up. lol i cant ever win.

its good bull that u took the time to practice and get used to riding and turning in the rain...one big thing is braking in the rain,,,,once u get used to it you can break pretty hard in the wet, even on non race tires.....just gotta let go of the front brake as soon as it locks up, and i mean immediately, then grab some more front brake....etc

also you want to be straight up and not leaned into the turn when you brake....just a little practice like you were doing will go a long way in keepeing your butt off the pavement in the wet and dry :dthumb:

Riding in the rain sucks!! I remember this one time riding in the rain... JR jacket, gloves, helmet, and jeans... started to pour when I was at the GF's house... about 2am... had to ride the 4-5 miles to my house... and it was pouring! I remember hitting the brakes and feeling the rain go forward on the seat and into my already soaked ar se!! It sucked... I was soaked ALL the way thru... the only thing that wasn't wet was where my jacket covered my shirt! :bash:

yes it does (riding in the rain sucks) and on top of getting peppered with rain drops you cant see a freaken thing...have to keep wiping your face shield with your gloves etc,,,,just not a great time on a bike in the rain...

now racing in the rain is a whole new ballgame and once you get the hang of it , its pretty intense and fun at the same time.....

Lets see...this is not your first post of :close call again today" thread. And now its in the rain.

Bull....learn to ride your bike in normal good weather before you try to master riding it in the rain like this. Learn to brake hard on dry pavement before in the rain.

LOL ;)

BTW (which means "by the way") LOL means laughing out loud. LMAO means laughing my ass off. LMFAO (similar to LMAO but with an additional expletive). LMMFAO (if you figured out the F in the previous, you should be able to guess the MF as well. There are a TON of abbreviations online, such as TIA (thanks in advance) MFP (you know the MF part, P is for please), STFU (shut the F up) and MANY, MANY others. Hope I helped and hope you aren't offended. ;)
