Have any of you guys or girls tried the new Joe Rocket jeans?
I want to get a pair of pants to wear while riding this year and I was considering these.

For those of you that have used them or seen them how do they compare to the other Joe Rocket pants like the Supermoto or Speedmaster leathers?

It can get warm and humid up here in Central NY and I would like something I am not going to bake in. You guys have any suggestions?

I've got the Icon recon jeans in black & blue...excellent for warm weather riding specialy in hot humid areas.:dthumb: Best prices I saw them so far is at speedwerks.com

Not tried them personally but, I'm sure they are way better than regular jeans for safety.:2cents:

I used the Joe Rocket Steel jeans briefly. Had a low side and banged up my knee pretty good. Nice scar to show for it. They're ok for a short slide (sort of) but don't do much for impact protection.Probably woulda been much worse w/regular jeans though. I only wear my agv sport leather pants now.
Kinda toasty when its warm, but I feel a hell of a lot more at ease having them on instead of jeans.

I think I have decided to go with the Icon Anthem pants. They cost a little bit more but they look like a better pair of jeans. There was a well written review that was posted here on TWF that helped me with my decision.

I bought the Icon Anthem Jeans. I got 2 pair, 1 of each color. I havent worn them riding yet but I really like them and they are exactly what I expected. The waist sizing is pretty accurate however they seem to be a "regular fit". I am use to the GAP "relaxed fit" jeans. No biggie though.
