Is that his pipe or his peg dragging? You don't want to lean that much without knee sliders because of that. Your knee is a guide to prevent that from happening.More proof you don't need to drag a knee to be fast.

Exactly. I can corner fast enough for my riding with out dragging. I find that when I slide around the tank I tend to stick my knee out...which obviously is not what I want to do w/o the sliders. So I try not to hang way off. I mean I've got no strips in the back and less than 1/2 inch up front on the right and about 1/4 inch on the left.....and thats on a heavy, slow, old ass 92 beotch! If you don't have leathers with knee sliders. Your better off.
Hell yeah! :dthumb:I'd say it's time for some leathers and track time.
$$$$$$. But soon I hope. The closest track to me is Pocono I think.Hell yeah! :dthumb:
$25...damn.:yikes: I could afford that.Keep your eyes peeled for late or early season trackdays, as well as fundraiser trackdays. I did april 1st for $25. Also did a breast cancer track day for $100. Good deals! Keep your eyes peeled at the local tracks for days like these. Charity days and/or certain track schools have really good deals sometimes.
You save the jack on the trackday which means extra loot for whatever else.Yeah, and actually I added on day 2 for an extra $100... so for two days at Grattan including the team chicago school classes was $125! Of course it was $300 for the new set of powers that I needed, but oh well![]()
I only live 15 min from Gratten, But they dont open that track up very often.Yeah, and actually I added on day 2 for an extra $100... so for two days at Grattan including the team chicago school classes was $125! Of course it was $300 for the new set of powers that I needed, but oh well![]()
M3's or M1's?no strips fopr me in the back and maybe a 1/8" in the front, but still working on gettign rid of the metzelar elephant on the edge, though with a sport touring tire that elephant is gonan take major work to wear away, i need miles and miles at the edge of the grip.. maybe i need to kill him in a parking lot with 20 cirlces knee down constantly
The pip actually did hit that day. Knee down wouldn't have made any difference. There is a slight dip in that corner and sometimes causes that to happen. I've ridden that bike enough with leathers and sliders. I've gotten comfortable with corner speed and safe lean angle. Is that his pipe or his peg dragging?
