I run the IT dept here in orlando, but my machine is audited routinely from our HQ in montreal... err, forgot to mention that the IT department is being outsourced. my last day with the company is in the end of march.

I was offered a position with the outsourcing company.. so i'm taking it.
Kinda weird applying for my own job, but hey, I'm the most qualified...

Disneyworld did a similar IT outsourcing a year ago.

Also, more news in the IT layoffs: UPS is laying off over 300 Tech support positions. UPS call centers are closing down and being outsourced to one Las Vegas location. UPS orlando already started it's layoffs this month.

i use to :whore: all the time while I was at work until I got so busy with being out on the road and building racks all day, on top of all that a new engineer started and my laptop got taken away from me and given to the new guy.:cursin:

I just ordered my new dell laptop sunday and it shipped out today, but because of stupid policy's I can't hook my personal laptop onto the network. I've done it before tho. :lol:
