I just got this e-mail today. It states that if you were Active Duty and resided in Mass for at least six months before you joined, beginning on 9/11/01. And if you've served in Iraq or Afghanistan you get 500 more dollars.

Here's the link for more details.

Now if you're still Active Duty, I guess your CO needs to fill a different form out. I e-mailed someone out there about the whole Active Duty thing because they don't explain it too well. i will let you guys know when i know.

If you've seperated since, it must be an honorable discharge.

Why what?

Mass LOVES the military. the law will let you go a lot more if they find out you're in the military. I've experienced it first hand. Another thing they're doing is paying Veteran's tuition for ANY state college that started serving between a certain time. Mass taxes the **** out of you, but they treat veterans w/ the respect/benefits they deserve.
