I've seen dynos range anywhere from basically zero to as high as 17. I'm talking headers and the exhaust, not just a can.

are we talking about a 'busa, or just any bike in general? I heard that most gsxr headers are pretty much racing headers out of the box.

These days stock systems are getting better and better, so the hp gains are getting less and less with a full system and PC, but they are still worth it.

The gains will depend on your bike, the brand of system you are putting on and if you do some tuning with the PC. You will see typical gains to be between 2 and 7 hp for most bikes. Still a nice power increase.

Yeah and nor does it make it worth it for the amount of cash you're spending... I know I would be pissed to only get 4hp for $2K

I'd be even more pissed paying $2k for an exhaust system.

Still, peak gains aren't everything. How flat the powerband should also be considered. But yeah, just like with cars, I don't expect to really get much out of exhaust other than sound and letting it breathe a little better.

Yeah but you know that it really isn't that hard to spend $2,000 on a full exhaust... I'm sure the new dual pipe 10R will be pricey as well just like the newer dual pipe R1's!

I would continue to shop for a better deal.
