:( Me and my family will definately keep Kieth in our prayers. It's just too bad that things like this happen. It really makes you think about it when your screaming down the highway.

I wonder if the car cut him off or something. It wouldn't surprise me one bit!

In any affect, I'm :sorry: to hear such bad news. Hopefully all the prayers for this guy will turn out for the better!

There is just too many of us going thru this. The same reason why I'm getting up at the crack of dawn to ride a hour and a half to a charity for a guy that is still intesive care himself.

Thank God, all of us riders stick together. That is the number 1 thing that people that don't ride don't get! It is that we are bonded like a brothern.

Keep your heads up and ride for each and every one of these guys!!

Very, very well said Chris!

Riding is a privilege and an honor, and though we all respect our machines, things just happen that we sometimes cant control. The general public just never seems to get how much motorcyclists stick together thru thick n thin, and unless they ever ride, they never will...yeah we will always have our harley vs sportbikes battles & arguments, but it all pales in comparison when something terrible happens to one of our fellow 2 wheelers. Rides for life, charity events, rally's for the POW/MIA's, rally's in washington to help the AMA continue to fight for our right to ride....that's what's it's all about, in the grand scheme of things, its all about riding, no matter what kind of bike you have.

again, we wish you well Keith !!!

Chris and MP have a point...is it me, or does there seem to be more crashes/fatalities involving riders, in the news this year. (I know there's been alot in our local area alone) .. It's really depressing when you think about it, but unfortunately its all too common as more and more people are more and more busy doing everything except concentrating on their driving these days.

All we can do is be careful, do our part to be safe, and dont be a squid !!

Good to hear Keith is showing some signs of a positive manner!! we'll keep the faith for him...

OK..my turn. This can be a really really touchy subject, when you hear about all these accidents in the newspaper, on TV, talking about it amongst fellow riders, then you come online and see countless posts in every motorcycle forum on the net..about riders down, fallen riders, minor mishaps, and near disasters. It can really not only make you lose your high for motorcycling, but if you're not careful, you can lose alot worse if you let your mind wander when you're out riding.

We can't live our lives worrying about what could happen, or when it might happen to our friend, or if it's ever gonna happen to us... Rock On Chris!!

Go out, do your thing, ride smart, and just have fun..Thats what motorcycling is all about isnt it? Having fun!! I mean, when's the last time you said...Ah hell, I HAVE to ride my bike today ?? not too freekin often, and if you find yourself saying it, then what are you doing riding in the first place??

These recent posts in this thread are not meant in any way to dispect the downed/fallen riders or those of us that post about the accidents involving riders that we hear about or know personally of. But sometimes you have to vent about all the crap in the world thats going on...helps keep you sane if you ask me.
