My vote goes to the Monster 1000 S. Has lots of cool factor. You can get plenty of luggage for it. (hard or soft bags) Fast in the corners and still comfy to ride.

A couple years ago, it was the Yamaha FJR1300. But if someone really wanted one, I would tell them to make a Busa or Blackbird into one by getting a handlebar conversion, taller windscreen, and maybe a Corbin seat. Of course, I already have a great sport/tourer.
